ACACIA PATRIOT CURLING SHOES

I've had a pair of the patriots for a couple months now. They are a nice wide fit, which suits my feet (I used to wear Asham club shoes that were a narrower fit). The leather is nice and soft to wear. I was wondering how they would hold up over time, but no issues so far playing 1 night a week, training 1 afternoon and having had 2 bonspiel weekends. They also look great in my opinion. Overall, I'm really happy with them!

Great quality shoes. I just started to curl and spent a lot of money for a pair of curling shoes thinking they would last. They started to fall apart after 2 months.
I purchased these shoes after and I am very happy with the quality and comfort at half the price I paid for my others. Fast shipping and the fit was perfect.

Shoes do not come with a slide gripper/protector. We’ll see how they perform on the ice.

The shoes fit well and are very comfortable. The unfortunate thing with the shoes is that the gripper is not nearly as grippy as I would expect. I am having trouble feeling confident on the ice while wearing these. The removeable gripper that I purchased for the slider foot is easily twice as grippy as the gripper disc's that came with the shoe.

These are my first pair of curling shoes so it's difficult for me to be authoritative. They feel and fit great and slide very nicely. Price point is excellent. I like the replaceable gripper and sliper pads. The reason I knocked a star off was for communications. None of my e-mails or voice messages to the company were returned. This could become a concern if there is a problem with the product. Also, as far as I can tell, the only payment method seems to be Paypal, which gives you little recourse in the event of problems. Having said this, I would order again.
